A muscle spasm is an involuntary contraction of muscle that can cause a lot of pain and discomfort.[1] I commonly see patients that come to me with back muscle spasms as they can be extremely painful and debilitating. What adds to their frustration is that they thought they sought direct treatment for their back muscle spasms but they keep coming back.
This is my take on back muscle spasms: they are typically a reaction to some underlying injury OR they are caused by some generalized muscle-related or nerve-related disorder. The latter is rarer cause of back muscle spasms.
If you are a patient who got treatment for their back muscle spasms, but they just don’t go away, I can help by using my Pain Unlayering Protocol (see my blog post about the Pain Unlayering Protocol for more information.) I can get to the root cause of why you have back muscle spasms and treat the underlying cause. Once you get that underlying cause treated, your muscles will relax and you can go back to living your best.
